Some people even suffer from constipation because they are always traveling from one place to other and they voluntarily withhold the stool so that they can save their time and avoid going to public toilets which may not be clean.

However, now you don’t need to worry about constipation problems because there are various home remedies that can help you to get rid of your constipation problems.

The best way to tackle the constipation problem is to drink more water. Most of the patients suffering from constipation do not drink sufficient amount of water and therefore they have problems while they pass their stools. With more water intake you can lubricate the digestion system and it will make the entire process easier. Patients suffering from constipation should drink more than two to three liters of water every day because that will make their organs efficient.
Chewing your food properly is also one of the simple home remedies that you can keep in mind. Most people who eat at restaurants or even at home have the habit of eating their food quickly and therefore they gulp down their food rather than chewing it. This can be too much to handle for your digestive system and therefore the digestion process does not happen in the right way. When you chew the food properly the saliva in your mouth begins the break the food immediately so that it can go ahead with the digestion process quickly when it enters the digestive tract.

High Fiber Food

Usually you can go for various fruits that have good fiber content. This will make things better because fiber will help you to digest the food in a better way and the flow of stools will be regular. This will eliminate your constipation problems. In case, you still have problems you can cut down your meals into smaller quantities. For instance you can have five to six small meals per day so that the digestion process goes on smoothly and you do not have constipation problems. You can even have cabbage juice which is very good for patients suffering from constipation problems.

Green Tea

Green tea is another home remedy that you can try to get rid of constipation problems. Green tea works like a laxative because it has more caffeine in it. Hence, you can have it whenever you want to get rid of constipation problems. However, green tea is not recommend for constipation problems in kids because too much of caffeine can dehydrate young kids.

Spinach and Carrot Juice

Spinach and carrot juice is another good home remedy for constipation. You can boil some carrots and then add some spinach to it. This is really good for breakfast and therefore you need to make sure that you take this soup in small quantities because the soup can react and sometimes it will be too hard to handle if you take this soup in large quantities.

Getting some kind of exercise is also good for constipation. People who sit in offices all the time might suffer from constipation because they sit in one position for many hours and there is virtually no body movement. You should try to take a walk or go for jogging early morning to ensure that your body muscles are active and healthy.
